This piece features an unusual natural combination of pale gray, blue, and green distributed throughout the jadeite. From a distance, the colors blend together to give the stone an overall soft light blue to blue-gray appearance. Seen more closely, individual areas of blue, green, pale gray, and slightly whitish jadeite become visible, creating a complex and naturally mottled surface. Rather than having a single uniform color, the beauty of this piece comes from the subtle layering and variation of its natural colors.
