This piece features the soft blue-grey tones and gentle translucency characteristic of Irikonsawa jadeite. Rather than being precisely shaped, it preserves the natural form of the original stone, resulting in an organic and primitive presence reminiscent of unearthed forms. The jadeite comes from Irikonsawa, Itoigawa, Niigata — one of the most respected jadeite localities in Japan, known for its rare blue coloration. Inspired by ancient excavated forms and Jomon aesthetics. Each piece is individually carved and polished by hand.
