IRIKONSAWA is a specific locality in the Itoigawa jadeite region known for its beautiful blue jadeite. Only a limited amount was found from this locality, making IRIKONSAWA blue jadeite particularly rare. The SUISHOKU has a pale whitish base with naturally occurring areas of soft blue. Its simple triangular form highlights the natural color and character of the stone. The front and sides are hand-polished, while part of the back retains the original natural rough surface. The accompanying bead is individually handmade from rare natural Itoigawa black jadeite.
